In a recurring gag, Cobie Smulders’ character Robin found her doppelganger on the hit sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ — but if she were to have a real-life doppelganger, it would have to be Jessica Stroup.
Smulders is best known for her role as Robin on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and also played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill in ‘The Avengers.’ She is currently reprising the same role in ‘Captain America: Winter Soldier’ and in the (likely but not yet confirmed) ‘Avengers 2.’
Jessica Stroup played Erin on the reboot of ’90210,’ and has also had roles in ‘Ted’ and in the horror films ‘Prom Night’ and ‘The Hill Have Eyes II,’ plus a part on the short-lived television show ‘Reaper.’

*Best Surfing: El Porto. “It has parking, waves, and a cute snack shop on the sand.”

The finale event kicks off tonight at 8/7c instead of the usual 9pm timeslot. The first hour (8-9pm) is a retrospective with the cast and the second (9-10pm) is the series finale. Be sure to watch!
